Think of your body like a house: your breath is the foundation, and your deep core and posture are the internal framework, like the studs in the walls. If the foundation is unstable, the entire structure becomes misaligned. The same applies to your body. When your core isn’t functioning properly, you may feel “off” without being able to explain why.
Now, picture your core as a canister made up of the diaphragm, abdominal muscles, lower back, and pelvic floor. If there’s a “leak” or weakness in one part (like the often-overlooked pelvic floor) other areas are forced to overcompensate. This imbalance can lead to poor posture, difficulty breathing, core weakness, and a general sense of instability.
When your core canister is balanced and intact (i.e., without any “holes”) your body functions more efficiently. You’ll feel more grounded, supported, and free from the internal tug-of-war that causes discomfort and dysfunction.
