FAQ
Do I need to see a doctor before coming to you?
Thankfully, South Dakota is a direct access state! This means we do not need a doctors referral to treat you! Talk about a relief! However, if you have a referral, thats totally fine and I will add it to your chart. We can chat about sending your OBGYN or Primary Care Provider updates, if you wish.
Do you take my insurance?
My goal is to work for my patients and not for what an insurance company believes is right for my patients. This is one of the big reasons I started this practice. I was tired of insurance companies dictating what I can and can’t do for my patients leaving them with heafty bills at the end of their treatment and no solution to their problem. This is why I am so passionate about the care of my patients and am an out-of-network provider with insurance companies. What is great is I can provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. I am also able to accept HSA/FSA payment as well. Due to being out of network, per Medicare rules, I am unable to treat those who carry Medicare for insurance. If this is you and are in need of care, please contact me and I can help find a provider who is in-network with your insurance.
What do I need to provide for you when you come to my home/business?
This is a great question! Many times, pending comfort level, we may need to use oa couple pillows to give you support. We also may need a sheet/blanket to keep you comfortable/warm while completing an internal examination. I do have chuck pads that we can place underneth you otherwise a bath towel will work just fine! Other than that, most everything else we may need, I should have!
I don't feel comfortable with someone I don't know in my home, do you have a clinic location as well?
Yes! I have a physical location that is available of ruse, whenever we may need it! No worries on location, I just want you better and on your road to recovery!
How long are my sessions?
Each session is 1 hour of individualized care. That’s right, no interruptions, no additional patients that your therapist is working with, just you and your therapist’s undivided attention.
